Best Festival Bathroom Hacks
This is just a short list of things I do to prepare myself for the worst possible bathroom scenarios at festivals. Please write in with any other hacks you use to add to the list!
While rompers look adorable, going to the bathroom can be quite the challenge. But in a port-a-potty? It becomes near impossible. Keep these outfits for daytime events, or shows that you KNOW have clean bathrooms.
One of the most common issues I run into with campsite latrines is the lack of toilet paper, or dry toilet paper. This makes it so you can fall into the mud, get spray with a squirt gun and still have clean tp from home. It's the little things that make you feel better while living outside :)
Consider buying individually wrapped wet wipes instead of the big box. I've found that wet wipes in a baggy just don't end up as convienent as I had hoped. Still totally doable at the campsite though! Just keep a designated bag for wipes, and just pack a couple for each trip. The individually wrapped wipes are sold near feminine products at any pharmacy. The sensitive skin ones have the least perfume, if you're sharing with guys and girls!
Usually, I swipe 2-4 on my way to the festival from rest stops or restaurant bathrooms. If you're staying at a hotel, call the front desk and ask for a box. Fold them individually and keep in your fanny pack or a baggy. Most of the time, seats are too wet to use these bad boys, but if you have a chance- it feels so great to sit down!
